SUPER PREDICTOR COMPETITION

SUPER PREDICTOR COMPETITION

It’s EASY to play the SUPER PREDICTOR Competition.

The basic idea of the game is to see who can score the highest number of points over the rounds of the competition based on the following.

  • In each round, you select just one team.
  • You select a different team every round, until you have selected every team once, then you can select a team for a second time.
  • It doesn’t matter whether your team wins, loses or draws, it’s just the points your team scores, that’s used to calculate your score for the round.
  • In each round you also predict how many points you think your chosen team will score.
  • If you correctly predict the number of points your team scores, the points your team scores is multiplied x 3 (Tripled) and added to your total score.
  • If you incorrectly predict your teams score you simply receive the points your team scores.
  • In one round you can elect to play your “Joker”. In a “Joker Round” the points your team scores will be multiplied x 3 (Tripled) and added to your total score.
  • A Joker can only be used once throughout the competition.
  • You are unable to predict your teams score in the same round you play your Joker.

The Rules

1: Team Selection:

  • You are required to select one team every round of the competition.
  • You must select a different team every round until every team has been selected once.
  • Once every team has been selected once you can then select a team for a second time (or for a third or fourth time etc if the number of teams and the number rounds in the competition enable this to happen).

Example – If you select the Tigers as your team in round 1, you are unable to select the Tigers again until you have selected every other team once, then you can select the Tigers again.

2: Point Scoring:

  • If you correctly predict the number of points your team scores, the points your team scores is multiplied x 3 (Tripled) and added to your total score.
  • If you incorrectly predict the number of points your teams score you simply receive the points your team scores.
  • In a “Joker Round” the points your team scores will be multiplied x 3 (Tripled) and added to your total score.

Examples.

    • If you predict your team will score 20 points and they actually score 20 points, the 20 points is multiplied by 3 (tripled) and added to your total score. In this case, 60 points (20 x 3) would be added to your total score.
    • If you predict your team will score 40 points and they only score 20 points, 20 points would be added to your total score.
    • In a Joker Round if your team scores 30 points, the 30 points is multiplied by 3 (tripled) and added to your total score. In this case you would get 90 points added to your total score.

3: What Happens If You Don’t Put In Your Tip Before the Round Cut Off Time or You Don’t Have a Team You Can Select for the Round.

If you forget to put in a tip, or you don’t put in a tip before the round cut off time, or you don’t have a team you can select for a round, your team for the round will be the team that is first alphabetically from the teams that you haven’t picked before and you receive Zero points.

4: What Happens if 2 or more tipsters are on equal Points at the end of the season.

In the event that 2 or more tipsters are on equal points at the end of the season the winner will be decided on a count back based on the following.

1: The tipster with the greatest number of correctly predicted scores over the rounds of the competition, and if tipsters remain tied,

2: The tipster with the highest score in any round that the score was correctly predicted, and if tipsters remain tied,

3: The tipster with the highest score in a Joker round, and if tipsters remain tied,

4: The tipster with the Highest score in Round 1, and if tipsters remain tied,

5: The tipster with the highest score in the lowest round number above Round 1, and if tipsters remain tied,

6: The tipsters will be awarded equal competition winners.

In the event that a dispute arises the decision of the organiser is final.
